Four Songs for Soprano and Piano on Poems by Margrit Bieri (2016)

Four Songs for Soprano and Piano on Poems by Margrit Bieri (2016)

€4.99Price

Composed as a gift for the poet herself (Margrit Bieri), each of the four songs depicts one of the seasons, the song sollection itself being a musical metaphor for the eternally recurrent life-death-life cycle. It is because of this that the last song ends with a reflective piano solo that suits as a transition to the key of the first song. This way the cycle can begin with whichever song without the continuity between them being disrupted.
