There is hardly anyone who is not familiar with the Zodiac and its 12 star signs. Although the concept of personality is impossible to reduce to mere labels, there are nevertheless several character traits that outline each sign in particular ways. It is precisely these features that I strove to depict in my piano pieces.

The idea of writing piano pieces on character traits had fascinated me since childhood. Embarking on this compositional journey thus turned a lifelong dream into reality. I attempted to musically portray both the assigned element and the unique character features of each sign. My endeavour consequently includes both traditional thematic structures and irregular time signatures or modulations, ethereal harmonies as well as bold, virtuosic passages. Each piece is meant to celebrate diversity and the individual qualities in every one of us.
